We’ve pulled together a few of our go-to places — the ones we recommend to friends and guests time and time again. Whether you’re after a relaxed pint at the Five Bells, a bite by the sea, or a great coffee and cake stop, you’ll find something to suit every mood.
Just a short drive away, Felicity’s Farm Shop is perfect for picking up fresh, local produce and everyday essentials.
From good coffee and homemade treats to quality ingredients, it’s a really handy spot to have nearby. There’s also a lovely little sit-down café, ideal for a relaxed coffee or bite to eat, with beautiful views stretching out to the sea, with Golden Cap.
“Charlie Farmer” is our lovely neighbour at Copsegate Farm, where he rears cattle and pigs just down the road. He has a little hut in his driveway that’s full of his own produce, including pork, beef and eggs.
It’s such a handy little stop if you fancy picking up some fresh, local food while passing by. He even has a little card reader so you don’t need to worry about finding cash!
Just a short walk from the farm, The Five Bells is our local and somewhere we (and our guests) love to visit. Run by Joanna, it’s a friendly, welcoming pub with a relaxed atmosphere and really good home-cooked food.
It’s the kind of place you can wander down to and feel right at home — whether you’re popping in for a drink or settling in for a lovely meal after a day exploring.
Set at the foot of Colmer’s Hill, Symondsbury Kitchen is a lovely spot for breakfast, lunch or a relaxed coffee in beautiful surroundings.
It’s a favourite for its fresh, seasonal food and laid-back atmosphere — perfect for starting your day, stopping off after a walk, or just sitting and taking in the view.
Right on the seafront at Seatown, The Anchor is a great spot for food and a drink with a view. With the beach just steps away and the cliffs rising behind, it’s hard to beat the setting.
It’s perfect after a coastal walk or a day by the sea — just to take in the view and atmosphere.
Right in the heart of Bridport, Soulshine is a great little spot for breakfast, brunch or a really good coffee. They also offer occasional evening supper club evenings.
