Otter’s Nest was our very first shepherd’s hut and remains a firm favourite — a simple, cosy space with a lovely countryside feel.
Inside, you’ll find a comfortable super king bed, giving you plenty of room to stretch out and relax, along with a kitchenette equipped with gas hob, sink, fridge and kettle for easy self-catering.
Otter’s Nest does not have its own bathroom, so you’ll need to use the nearby campsite toilets and hot showers, just a short walk away. For this reason, it’s our more affordable hut — a great option if you’re happy with shared facilities but still want the comfort and charm of a shepherd’s hut stay.
A mattress protector and fitted bottom sheet are provided as standard, so you’ll need to bring your own bedding. If you’d prefer bedding to be provided, this can be added at the time of booking for an additional cost.
A relaxed and welcoming space, perfect for enjoying the farm, the surrounding countryside, and a slower pace of life.
