Beaches near Hobby Farm

We’re perfectly placed for exploring the Jurassic Coast, with some of Dorset’s most beautiful beaches just a short drive from the farm.

Lyme Regis Beach

Lyme Regis is always worth a visit, with its lovely seafront, shops, and the famous Cobb — perfect for a proper day out.

Seatown Beach

Seatown is one of the closest coastal spots to Hobby Farm and a real favourite, with a quieter, more relaxed feel. It’s perfect for a swim, a coastal walk, or stopping at The Anchor right by the beach.

Charmouth Beach

Charmouth is well known for fossil hunting and long beach walks, making it a favourite for a slower day by the sea.

4 miles from Hobby Farm.

Eype Beach

The beach at Eype (pronounced ‘eep’!) is a real gem as it is dog friendly and relatively secluded.

It’s dog friendly and a great place to get away from the crowds in the summer months but, sssshhh! don’t tell anyone!

Hive Beach

Hive beach is a popular West Dorset beach with easy access from the car park.  The beach is less ‘pebbly’ than many in the area and has a lovely restaurant cafe right by the beach.

There is also a lovely hotel cliff top restaurant too which is has a good pathway leading to it.

West Bay

A great walk from the farm if you fancy heading down to the coast.

Following footpaths and quiet lanes, you can make your way towards Charmouth, where you’ll be rewarded with sea views and a lovely stretch of beach.

Perfect for a wander along the shore, fossil hunting, or stopping for a coffee before heading back.
